Giveaways are a Win-Win

If you spend anytime online, especially
in the Internet marketing industry, you
may be familiar with giveaway events.

These events are great for anyone trying
to build their list and for those who are
looking for information about starting
or growing an online business.

There are two phases of an event. The first
phase is for contributors, also referred
to as Joint Venture (JV) partners, and
the second is for members.

The first phase is a designated time period
for the contributors to sign up and place
a gift into the event. During this time
the contributors may also invite others
into the event as contributors. This helps
expand the number of gifts available.

Contributors who place gifts into the event
have an opportunity to build their list when
individuals click on their gift for download
access.

The second phase is a designated time period
for members to sign up for access to the
event. Once the doors open to members, the
door closes for new contributors.

Once inside the event members can see all
the gifts available for download, and there
are usually hundreds of free gifts. Members can
download any and all gifts which will be on
a variety of topics related to the event
industry. For Internet marketing events these
downloads will be a wealth of knowledge for
those interested in doing business online.

Giveaway events are usually free to sign up
as a contributor or a member. Depending on
the specific event rules, there may also be
opportunities to upgrade for a fee to enable
different options for contributing gifts or
accessing downloads.

I consider giveaways to be win-win events –
contributors can build their lists and
members can access a wealth of knowledge!
